Fall Back

picture from my desk...so prettyI always feel lonely around this time of year. I love Fall; the air is crisp, the trees are beautiful, winter is on the way. When I see the marvelous colors, feel the almost-cold wind on my face while the rest of my body is warm, for some reason I become very interested in sharing my marveling with someone. Not anyone in particular, just someone. It only gets more intense as the Christmas season approaches, with the lights and trees and celebration. It goes away around February, but for the next two months, if you catch me zoned out, just snap me out of it.

The picture to the right was taken from my desk window. Click it to see the large version (200k).

    Hey Pal,

I’ve been there my friend. Christmas and New Years sucked when I was a bachelor. Just remember that once we get what we long for (and believe me, you will get what you want with prayer and when God decides it), the feeling is replaced with a new feeling. For example, once you are no longer lonely, you wish you had more money or perhaps an emotional need of some other kind. Therefore you shouldn’t feel lonely knowing that it’s hardwired into you to feel that way and know that God has a plan and is in control of your life. If you were referring to being lonely as in missing your Grandma or other family members then please disregard everything i’ve said:)

    Your friend,

    Randy
