What a privilege and an honor
To worship at your throne,
To be called into your presence as your own.
I started my new job on Thursday. It was several hours into my day when I realized I had been singing that song in my head the whole morning. Once I realized that, I was amazed at how beautiful it was. Without even thinking, I had been praising my God throughout the entire day! A smile washed across my face as I marveled at the way we are built. This does not say anything about me, but rather about my Lord and how much He loves me. He provided a job for me at just the right time and kept me from being anxious at all throughout my joblessness, and the my soul just began to praise Him without even asking me to do so. How beautiful is the kinship I have with Him because of what He has done for me!
