Let’s Start Your Project!

Yes! You’re ready to take the next step! This can be a daunting task, but we’ll work on it together and I’ll guide you the whole way. You’re in complete control, and you’ve got me on your site to make sure you get what you need.

The first thing we need to do is get an idea of what you want. Your website is a big part of it, but we’ll also talk about email strategies, social media marketing, and stuff like that related to your business that your website will be the center of. But we’ll get to all of that stuff later.

For now, what you need to know is that while each website we build is different, every website comes with a few basic things.

Custom Homepage Design

All websites need a homepage, and there’s a handful of things you’d put on a home page. Yours will have only the items it needs to engage your visitors and lead them on the path to becoming paying customers. If your homepage isn’t working for you, your website is pointless because no one will see the rest of it.

Linked Social Icons

Hopefully you’ve already been building your social presence (if you haven’t, we’ll guide you towards that). Your website is the hub for your tribe, so it needs to link out to your social channels, and you’ll link back to your site from them. Your website will come with that connectivity already enabled.

Email List Forms

Your best way to get new customers is through building relationships with your visitors, and the best way to do that is to give them something they can’t live without in exchange for their email address and then cultivate that new relationship through email. Your new site will come with this enabled from day 1. If that’s all brand new to you, don’t worry – I’ve got you covered there too.

You Manage Your Content

In the old days, you’d have to pay a developer boku bucks to change a word you misspelled in your original site. You don’t have to do that anymore. I use a framework that allows you to add your own content and change whatever you want. If you can use a Word document, you can do this too.

So now that we have the basics, I’ll show you the “t-shirt sizes” of sites we build and you can determine which size is the right one for you. This will give you an idea of the effort that it’ll take to get it done and will help me give you the right proposal.

SMALL

The “small” site comes with only the basics. You’d pick the small site when some or all of these are true:

  • You only need to show a couple services, testimonials, contact form, opt in, and contact details.
  • You need the site up very quickly but don’t have much ready yet
  • You don’t need a blog, internal pages, or monthly development time

A “small” can be upgraded to “medium” or “large” later with the original costs counted towards the upgrade price.

Smalls start around $795.

An example of a small would be http://blooming.jayzilla.com

MEDIUM

The “medium” site comes with the basics plus internal pages, SEO, and 6 months of edits. You’d pick the medium site when some or all of these are true:

  • You’ll want a blog
  • You have multiple pages’ worth of content to display
  • You’re interested in working on ranking high in Google
  • You would benefit from pre-booking development time for 6 months to add to or modify the site.

A “medium” can be upgraded to a “large” later with the original costs counted towards the upgrade price.

Mediums start around $1495.

An example of a mid-range Medium would be http://www.tejalvpatel.com

LARGE

The “large” site comes with everything a medium has plus add-ons, like ecommerce, membership courses, and 12 months of development time. You’d pick the large site when some or all of these are true:

  • You’ll want a blog
  • You have lots and lots pages’ worth of content to display
  • You’re interested in working on ranking high in Google
  • You want to sell products from your site
  • You want to host a membership course or subscription on your site
  • You would benefit from pre-booking development time for 12 months to add to or modify the site.

Larges start around $2995.

An example of a Large would be The Mindful Mama Experience.
